⭐️⭐️ UPDATE ⭐️⭐️

As you’ll all be aware from my earlier post this year, I explained that I was scaling back the business.

Well, after giving it plenty of thought, I’ve decided that Gary’s Automotive Services will officially close at the end of December 2026.

Until then, it’s business as usual, and I’m still here to help keep you all motoring! 🚗🔧

It’s been quite the ride since opening the doors back in 2016 at our 1st premises in Fougerolles du Plessis and, then more recently here in Gorron — nearly 11 years of fixing cars, meeting some great people, solving some interesting problems (and occasionally wondering why I ever became a mechanic! 😂).

But the time has come to move on to something new… whatever that might be! (I’ll keep you posted)..

I’d like to say a massive thank you to every single customer who has supported me, recommended me, trusted me with your vehicles and kept the business going over the years.

Your support and business have genuinely meant the world.
Thank you for an incredible 10+ years. ❤️🔧🚗

Just a quick update on the back of my recent post.

Firstly, thank you for all the wonderful messages of support and encouragement, it is very much appreciated.

However, I just want to make it clear that I’m NOT closing down but, rather scaling back on the level of work and types of jobs I’m going to take on at Gary’s Automotive Services.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ NOTE… Also, for those of you who are clients of Jon and Pete their business operations are not changing so, continue to contact them directly.

UPDATE......

Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to let you all know I’ve made a decision to scale back the business due to personal reasons.

This hasn’t been an easy decision for me, as the garage has been a huge part of my life since 2016. I’ve met some amazing people along the way and I honestly can’t thank my customers enough for all the support, loyalty, recommendations and kindness you’ve shown me over the years.

To everyone who has trusted me with their vehicles, supported the business, stopped by for a chat, recommended me to friends and family, or simply kept coming back year after year — thank you. It’s meant more than I can put into words.

Going forward I’ll will be reducing my workload considerably by only taking on carefully selected jobs.

I appreciate everyone’s understanding, patience and continued support while this change takes place.

I will update my page accordingly with opening time etc.

Once again, thank you for everything.

Good Afternoon,

I hope this post finds everyone well.

This is just a quick update to let you know the garage will be closed from Friday 8th May 2026 and re-open on Tuesday 26th May 2026.

I am fully booked now for the remainder of this week so, appointments are being scheduled for 26th May 2026 onwards.

However, work is already booked in for that week so, if you need an appointment slot please book soon to avoid disappointment.

🎅 🎄🎁 MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE !🎅 🎄 🎁

Firstly, THANK YOU for all the kind messages recently. The operation went well and, the surgeon has signed me off fit to return to work in the New Year.

So, I’ll be back at work week commencing Monday 5th January 2026. There are a few appointments remaining for that week.

Work is all by appointment only so please WhatsApp, email or Facebook messenger me if you’d like any work booking in.

Lastly, I’d like to take the opportunity to thank all of my clients new and old for your continued support and custom during 2025. It has not been without its challenges and I thank you all for being patient and understanding.

I wish each and everyone of you a Merry Christmas and I hope you have a healthy, prosperous New Year.

⭐️Quick message ⭐️

Just to let you all know I’m going to be closed from 8th October 2025 for approx. 8weeks. This is due to going into hospital for surgery.

Unfortunately I am fully booked with work right up to 8th October 2025

My surgery is planned for early on 9th October 2025 and I will be uncontactable until 17th October 2025. However, after this date any emergencies you can contact me and I’ll try to help where I can.
