And now we proceed to the dashboard and centre console. An electric parking brake switch from an MB CLA goes where the cable-operated heater controls were located before. There's a 2DIN radio where the dashplate with the Marlin emblem went. It will have an animated Marlin logo. Below it is a Dakota Digital air-conditioner controller, and below that 2 air-conditioner louvre vents from Vintage Air. And a push-button start in place of the key.

On to the front grille. This is a job that requires a lot of tinkering, as Conrad Beaulieu will testify to. It's a matter of making the necessary space. We'll start with the grille frame, which will drive the rest of the design solutions whilst respecting the physical constraints we must follow.

The challenges of building a "Franken Rambler." The 6.7l LA360 with "shorties" and the Flaming River steering column fit nicely, with just enough clearance to the Mustang II servo-assisted steering rack. Fitting the steering wheel properly will require a bit of tinkering.

More prototyping, this time the taillights. We're almost there. Just a small tweak to the walls around the the brake lights and turn-signal lights and we're set.
