Supercar Blondie featured 18 Wheels again! 🚀

Huge thanks to the Supercar Blondie team for sharing our new prototype.
Our concept continues to attract global attention — from viral Reuters coverage (100M+ views) to the NASA Rock & Roll Challenge and now again one of the biggest automotive media channels in the world.

🚀 18 Wheels joins the Rock and Roll with NASA Challenge!
Lunar rovers need a new generation of wheels: lightweight, reliable, and fast.
Our 18 independent mini-wheels with integrated motors make our system 3.5x lighter than a traditional 4-wheel, single-motor setup. Every gram saved is more power for science!
🛡 Built to Survive: Strength comes in numbers. Our small, robust wheels are inherently tougher. The mission continues even if up to a third of them fail. True redundancy.
⚡️ Speed Demon: By slashing the unsprung mass 18-fold, our suspension lets us glide over treacherous terrain. We’re confidently targeting speeds over 50 km/h on the Moon, blowing past the 24 km/h requirement.
And here’s the best part: Thanks to the extremely low ground pressure, the rover glides effortlessly. This makes driving significantly easier and extends the range by 2.7 times!

18Wheels released the second prototype and participated in biggest ATV and Motorcycle show from Jan 31st to Feb 2nd. What a wonderful time it was! 50k visitors, huge people attention, new contacts, building business development and partnership, talking with engineers, enthusiasts of electric transports and ATV, UTV, interesting and talented people
three days passed like a slight moment, joined into one wonderful adventure . We are prod of our team, who make it possible, great job . What are the advantages compared to a regular ATV?
- Capable of overcoming rocks, trees, and bumps at high speeds with minimal jolting.
- Can be used on any surface as it exerts low ground pressure and causes no damage to the terrain.
- Easier to manufacture and maintain due to the absence of a transmission and gearbox. Most breakdowns can be fixed by replacing inexpensive wheels using a screwdriver.

What is the maximum speed?
- It reaches up to 110 km/h under good road conditions.

Why does this look so wierd?
- The ATV featured in the video is specifically designed to test fundamental engineering and design hypotheses in real-world conditions. Production of the first prototype of the ATV, equipped with an enhanced steering and suspension system, is already in progress. Our team is rectifying the errors identified in the previous model.

What about brakes and «nosedive»?
- The initial prototype is too soft, hence unable to brake sharply. The new prototype doesn’t have this issue. Its suspension will be pneumatically adjusted based on the driver’s weight. At high speeds, the ATV will be as stiff as possible, preventing critical tilting during abrupt braking.

Does it have a reverse drive?
- Yes, in the second prototype, reverse drive has already been incorporated.
