We had the pleasure of welcoming Gonzalo Capellán, President of the Government of La Rioja, and Belinda León, Regional Minister for Economy, Innovation, Business and Self-Employment, to our facilities in Santo Domingo de la Calzada.

During their visit, they had the opportunity to discover how we design and manufacture bespoke motorhomes, hospitality units and special vehicles, all developed in-house by our highly specialised team.

More than 165 years of history, six generations and the same commitment: combining innovation, design, craftsmanship and engineering to create unique vehicles that carry the name of Rioja around the world.

Today we are proud to present the world’s first McDonald's restaurant on wheels, recently unveiled in Madrid at the iconic Mad Cool Festival Mad Cool Festival

A project conceived, designed and fully manufactured in our facilities, in close collaboration with McDonald’s Spain.

This mobile unit brings the full capacity of a physical McDonald’s restaurant to the road, with a professional kitchen capable of serving up to 1,200 menus per hour.

We have managed to integrate McDonald’s four-line working system into a mobile space, including all the key elements of a traditional restaurant and improving important aspects such as ventilation and interior temperature control.

Los reyes han mantenido una reunión con los integrantes del puesto de mando avanzado instalado en Paiporta (Valencia). Allí se han reunido durante algo más de una hora con los distintos cuerpos que están participando en atender esta emergencia como son la UME, Cruz Roja, Policía o Guardia Civil, etc.

Seguimos tristes y consternados por la tragedia pero con la sensación de haber aportado nuestro pequeño granito de arena al diseñar y fabricar estos vehículos. La sensación es agridulce porque desearíamos que nunca se hubiese tenido que utilizar para este tipo de situaciones.

Un puesto de mando avanzado es un vehículo de coordinación y ejecución de operaciones destinado a emergencias y catástrofes. Este vehículo está compuesto por medios y recursos extraordinarios que le permiten ser el centro de mando en una coordinación de los distintos efectivos movilizados en caso de emergencia.

Seguiremos muy pendiente de los acontecimientos, y queremos reiterar nuestro agradecimiento a todas la personas que están ayudando y colaborando.

Todas las personas que formamos parte de Rioja Vehicles queremos expresar nuestras condolencias a los familiares y seres queridos de las personas fallecidas por el temporal que están sufriendo muchas zonas de nuestro país, sobre todo en las provincias de Valencia y Albacete.

Queremos mostrar nuestras más profunda consternación y nuestra solidaridad a toda la población afectada por esta catástrofe, a la que queremos trasmitir todo nuestro apoyo y cariño.

Muchas gracias por el trabajo que están realizado los profesionales de las fuerzas y cuerpos de seguridad del Estado, seguridad, bomberos y emergencias, que ya han rescatado a miles de personas que quedaron atrapadas e incomunicadas.
