The grieving mother of the late Augusta Onuwabhagbe, allegedly killed by her boyfriend, has told a Lagos High Court that she once regarded the suspect, as her son.

Lagos State High Court don conclude hearing for di trial of Chidimma Ojukwu wey be di alleged killer of Super TV boss Usifo Ataga.

During di Wednesday sitting, di court cross examine Chidimma Ojukwu elder sister Chioma Egbuchu wey bin give testimony in court last monday.

She collect questions from Chidinma lawyer Onwuka Egwu, lawyer to Adedapo Quadri wey be second defendant, Babatunde Busari and from MA Abiabasi wey be lawyer to di elder sister.

Afta di questions, Justice Yetunde Adesanya rule say make all parties wey dey involved in for di mata file dia final addresses within 21 days each and afta dat di parties get 7 days to respond to di addresses.

She fix September 24 for adoption of final addresses. Afta dat day, di judge go now fix judgement day.

Under Nigeria law, she get 90 days period to prepare for di judgement. Dis mean say judgement fit happun bifor di end of year 2026.

Chidinma Ojukwu and di second defendant Adedapo Quadri still dey prison since 2021 wey di incident happun, while her elder sister dey come court from home as she dey under bail.
