Yacht Maintenance Engineer – Palma de Mallorca

Yacht Maintenance Engineer / Marine Engineer

39 North Marine are searching for a Marine Maintenance Engineer to join their team.

Are you looking to join a fresh and dynamic growing business? Or do you know anyone? We have a referral program for successful recommendations.

We are looking for someone with strong and broad experience in yacht engineering systems. Most yachts we work with fall between 10m – 30m.
Strong experience trouble shooting onboard systems. Specifying repairs, sourcing parts and undertaking repairs themselves. Candidates must have the ability to manage their own small works and time effectively.
You must be able to produce comprehensive work reports.
Experience as a Yacht Test Engineer would be extremely advantageous.
Candidates must be fluent in English and Spanish language would be advantageous.
Driving license required.
Applicants must be legal to reside/work in Spain.

39 North Marine are a dynamic and fast growing Marine Services company based in Palma and Port Adriano. We have a strong Marine Carpentry division and a small engineering and maintenance team that carry out small to medium sized projects alongside periodic technical maintenance for small boats up to 24m.

The classic “Our cockpit table is not big enough” line that seems to come from many of our clients here at ... We hooked up with Marine who supplied our client with these fixed pedestals, incorporating a bi-fold table to turn intimate four seat arrangements to a comfortable 12 seat set up, fit for any dinner party.

We took a plain, dated, unnoticeable dinette table and gave it a new lease of life, simple but extremely effective.
Mortifying the shape, structure and overall aesthetics we made this a place to eat, drink and party with friends and family. Just one aspect of a very enjoyable job with extremely kind and respecting clients which we at will be more than happy to work for again and again.
