Hi people I posted this video a little while back of a 2005 bmw 120d with the awsum m47 engine with 346000km,come to me with lack of power,suspect turbo so replaced that with new unit,still no power looked in to it more and the inlet manifold was not put on correctly so was blowing through all inlet ports fixed this new gasket and bolt collers put in the right way but still no power,changed the fuel rail pressure regulator and go for a drive all power back and then I hear this noise as I go to second gear a km from my house knock knock knock all the way home I thought s**t bottom end gone but then I looked behind me and it was bellowing smoke as seen in video so popped the bonnet to have a listen and was at front of engine so I Changed number 1 injector for number 4 and the knock moved to back of engine so great news for me changed all 4 injectors and knock fine but still smoking a little changed maf sensor and smoke gone and cars now perfect all power no smoke and most of all silent engine,happy days so if your m47 started knocking like this and you have been told engine fu**ed just change injectors first 👍🏻🙏👌
