Costa Coches Mojácar under new management
Following the successful acquisition of Costa Coches car rental business at Almeria Airport,
AA Parking has recently purchased Costa Coches Mojácar. The business, situated next to Kia on Mojácar beach road, will become a one-stop shop for airport and local travel, offering the following services: car rental from Mojácar and the airports of Almeria, Alicante and Murcia; airport parking at Almeria, Alicante and Murcia; and airport transfers to the same destinations by bus and taxi in conjunction with Exclusive Airport Shuttles.
AA Parking/Costa Coches is a local family business, owned by Stacy Reading and Sergio Fernández. Stacy hails from England, but has lived and worked in Spain for 15 years, originally as a management consultant with PWC, whilst Sergio was born in Granada and spent over 10 years living and working in the UK before returning to Spain. The couple live in Mojácar with their two children.
According to director Stacy Reading, “We have been delighted by the response of customers to our car hire operation at Almeria Airport, and it encouraged us to take over Costa Coches’ car hire and sales business in Mojácar. Our customers love the fact that their hire car is waiting for them with a full tank of fuel when they come off the plane, with no queuing or complicated paperwork, insurance add-ons or credit card blocking. We now intend to offer sensibly priced car hire with similarly high standards of customer service in our Mojácar office. Although we have renewed most of our fleet, we will be continuing with the popular option of supplying budget hire cars for local use only and also van hire for those needing to move furniture or hire a van for a trip to Ikea. We are very excited about this opportunity and look forward to serving the area´s many residents.”
The couple have ambitious plans for the business and will shortly be branching out into car sales. They are already actively buying low kilometer cars to add to their hire fleet and for resale. Anyone interested in selling a car should email them or visit the Costa Coches Mojácar office.
