The quad-seat Mega GT Gemera represents a ground-up, never-before-seen interpretation of a hand-built bespoke extreme sports car.

Its driving experience rivals that of the most extreme mid-engine, two-seater sports car—yet with ample room for four adults.

To achieve this seemingly impossible feat, we had to rethink everything. Enter the patented shrink-wrapped Light Speed Tourbillon Transmission (LSTT). The LSTT features nine superfast-shifting gears, paired with all-wheel drive and four-wheel torque vectoring.

Power comes from a hand-built 1,500 hp hot V8 twin-turbo engine, working in tandem with the 800 hp in-house-developed ”Dark Matter” electric motor.

The sonorous V8 revs freely without the need for a flywheel, allowing the Gemera to feel and sound like a Jesko—yet propelled forward with the force of a giant’s hand when its exceptionally responsive throttle unleashes 2,300 hp through all four wheels.

The Gemera marks the next chapter in the realm of Megacars. We can’t wait to put it into the hands of our clients.

The Gemera: Koenigsegg’s mid-engine megacar performance meets the practicality of a full four-seater. The Gemera is propelled by our groundbreaking Hot-Vee V8 engine and revolutionary Dark Matter Raxial Flux E-motor providing 2,300hp and 2,750Nm torque, all channeled through our amazing new 9-speed Light Speed Tourbillon Transmission.

The Gemera offers the ultimate fusion of exhilaration and utility - 2300hp of pure thrills that can be shared with family and friends. It’s spacious enough for four adults and their luggage, fuelled by renewable energy where available, and engineered for breathtaking agility.

When you’re climbing upwards from 400 km/h, your biggest challenge isn’t a lack of power — at least not in a Koenigsegg. It’s a lack of... slipperiness. The density of the air becomes your enemy in this scenario, and punching through it as efficiently as possible is key.

That’s why we designed the Jesko Absolut with new aerodynamics for minimal drag, making every surface as slippery as possible. The CFD team’s target was a Cd of 0.28 — among the lowest in the hypercar world — but they exceeded this goal with a final figure of 0.278 and a frontal area of just 1.88 m².

For those of you with good math skills, you might want to calculate the theoretical top speed at different wheel power levels using this data as a base. Have fun!
