🌧️ Well… yesterday the heavens certainly opened! 😂

With all the heavy rain and weather warnings around, we thought we’d give everyone a little update.

The good news is the parking area was absolutely fine 👍 The rain drained away nicely and there were no problems with the cars or the parking area.

The only casualty was… my own car! 🤦‍♂️😂

Somehow, with everything going on, I managed to leave my own car window open. So while everyone else’s cars were nice and dry, guess who was driving around with a rather unexpected swimming pool inside his own car? 🤣

Thankfully, everything is back to normal today. ☀️

We always keep an eye on the weather, especially when there are warnings, and make sure the parking area and customer cars are checked and looked after.

Customer cars: dry and safe.

Well... I'm back! 😄

I hope Natalie has been keeping you all looked after while I've been away... although knowing her, you've probably had better service without me! 😂

Just a little update from us...

Over the past few weeks we've had to make a few upgrades following new requirements from the local authorities.

✅ Added extra fire extinguishers.
✅ Installed a chain to clearly separate the parking area from our family home.
✅ Added a portable toilet for the parking area.

As we live on site and have neighbours, these changes are completely understandable. They're all about keeping everything safe, organised and up to date, and we're happy to do whatever is required to keep improving our business.

Of course, this doesn't mean that's the end of it. Whether it's in a month's time, a year's time or even ten years from now, there will probably be new regulations and improvements to make. That's just part of running a professional business, and we'll continue to adapt and invest whenever needed.

Now for the not-so-good news... 😕

We were really hoping to add more undercover parking before the end of the year. Unfortunately, after speaking with the Town Hall, we've been advised to wait for the time being while new regulations are being finalised.

As soon as we're given the green light, we'll be moving forward because we know many of you have been waiting for more covered spaces. We're just as eager as you are to make it happen!

The authorities have visited our premises and carried out their inspections, including checking our security, lighting and safety measures. As with many businesses, we have been asked to make a few improvements, which we are already working on.

📢 Indoor Parking Update

Well... it's time for a little update on our indoor parking project!

As many of you know, we were hoping to have our indoor parking ready by mid-May. Then it became the end of May. Then it became... well, whenever the building owner felt like it! 😅

The building itself was there and ready, but it still needed the large access door, extra cameras, fire extinguishers, and a few final requirements before we could open it properly and safely.

After another delay, I had a straightforward conversation with the owner. I explained that it wasn't just me being messed around anymore – it was also our customers who had been patiently waiting. Unfortunately, no progress was made, so I decided enough was enough and walked away from the project.

To be honest, I was quite nervous about breaking the news to the customers who had been waiting for indoor parking. But true to form, our Dutch customers were practical, understanding, and simply said, "No problem!" and switched to our covered parking option. 🇳🇱😊

So, for now, there will be no indoor parking. The good news is that many of the customers who were waiting for indoor parking switched to our covered parking option, which is now completely full! 😊

A huge thank you to everyone for your patience, understanding, and continued support. As a small family business, it means a lot to us. We always try to be open and honest, even when things don't go according to plan.

The support we've received has been incredible, and it reminds us why we love doing what we do.
