h an English speaking help desk to take care of all of your needs. We have on-site fast check-in with an ATM on site and we are also the only fuel dock on the North coast with a full team to help you secure your vessel. We are also the only full-service marina and boatyard on the North coast located between the heavily traveled Florida/Bahamas and the Puerto Rico/Eastern Caribbean route. We have an outdoor yacht club run by cruisers on our dock for meals and a bar for fun family social gatherings with lots of planned activities for the children such as a swim club, etc. We also have an on-site restaurant, convenience store with an ATM and full laundry facilities plus on-site accommodation for those of you who want a break off the boat in the marina or in the yard plus there is lots of hotel accommodation near by. We also have a fully equipped gym, wifi on the dock and in the lobby and much more which is included in the marina and boatyard rates. There are lots of recreational opportunities nearby that we can assist you at our help desk regarding taxi or car hire plus tours, golf, fishing, scuba diving, horseback riding, kite surfing and even white water rafting. Puerto Plata is celebrated as an affordable and beautiful Caribbean vacation playground and historical town with superb supermarkets and rebuild shops plus a chandlery or we can also assist you with bringing parts in from USA, dental/medical etc, so Puerto Plata has it all. We also have a very large backup generator power house in case of electrical outages which can happen in the towns and especially in the rural areas. Puerto Plata's airport (POP) is a 30 minute drive, and has daily flights from Miami, NYC and cities in Europe or we are a short taxi ride away to the big Santiago airport.
