Sim Tech Sport

Sim Tech Sport Sim Tech Sport is formed by Henrik Jacobsen and Kenneth Melbye Larsen. We are doing simulation for racing drivers to improve and prepare the drivers.

The idea was to build a simulator which will come as close as possible to a real Formula Racing Car. The simulator is built around a Formula Renault 2.0 monocoque from year 2010. We have chosen to use real brake pedal box with brakemaster cylinders, and Formula Renault 4 port racing calibers, plus Formula Renault brake discs and pads. With sensors mounted in the brake lines, this system can provid

e us with the brake pressuer directly from the brakeline. The clutch is a original Formula Renault two plate type with real slave cylinder. Here we can also see the pressure in the clutchline. The throttlebody is from a Formula Ford Zetec 1.8 engine, where the signal from the TPS sensor is used in the simulator. All these devices together provide exactly the same feeling as sitting in a real Formula Racing car. The steering wheel is of the type “Fanatec” ClubSport V2 with F1 style steering wheel. Two butt kickers supply the driver with the feeling from changing gear, and when the curbs is used they respons the feeling as well. Three 27″ monitors give the driver the best and real live experience when he is driving. Because of the low (1m/s) respons time, we have no lacking. The sound come from “Logitech” dolby digital surround with 5 speakers and a separate subwoofer. Everything run by a very powerfull computer.

En ikke helt perfekt omgang vi lige optog, men nyd den nye Formel 3 vi har fået ind i spillet, som lyder utrolig godt og kører godt. Nu er den kørt ind og klar til at blive brugt, når Formel 3 køreren Mikkel Jensen tager et s**t forbi næste uge.

Nu er det også muligt at teste DTC i simulatoren. Her ses en af de første omgange på FDM Jyllandsringen, hvor bilen bliver sat op til de virkede forhold, så der kan forventes præcis samme køreegenskaber som i virkeligheden.

Sim Tech Sport har i den forgangende uge haft F3 kører Mikkel Jensen i simulatoren som forberedelse til hans eksklusive DTM test for Mercedes-Benz. Mikkel udtaler "Utrolig god feedback og respons. Føles ikke som et spil, men som at være tilstede i virkligheden, bortset fra G påvirkningerne"

Vi ønsker Mikkel held og lykke med den spændende DTM test på Jerez på torsdag.
