Dragonfly Trimarans are designed and built in Denmark by Quorning Boats, founded in 1967. With nearly 1,000 Dragonfly Trimarans sailing worldwide, the yard produces around 35 boats per year. The company employs around 50 skilled specialists, including professional and apprentice boat builders, combining traditional craftsmanship with advanced 3D design and high‑tech engineering. Led across tree generations by Børge, Jens and Peter Quorning, every Dragonfly is built in Denmark to ensure exceptional quality, performance, and innovation.

🏆 Dragonfly 36 Named Overall Boat of the Year 2026!

A new Dragonfly 36, but a familiar face 🇩🇰⛵

Last week, we had the pleasure of handing over Dragonfly 36 hull no. 18 to its new owner here in Denmark.

For the owner, this is not the beginning of a Dragonfly journey, but the next chapter. After many enjoyable years aboard his Dragonfly 32, he placed an order for a new Dragonfly 36 and sold his Dragonfly 32 while waiting for delivery.

For us, there is no greater compliment than an owner who chooses to continue the journey with Dragonfly. It is a testament to the quality, performance, and ownership experience that we strive to deliver with every Dragonfly.

From the first discussions and specifications to the final handover, it has been a pleasure to see another sailing dream come true. 🌟
