Danish-based Survey Association of 1914 has entered a strategic alliance with Singapore-based Techwise Offshore Consultancy Pte. Ltd. to provide Marine Warranty Surveyor (MWS) services in the Vietnamese offshore wind market.

Survey Association of 1914 A/S (SA) and its partner in Japan, Specialists Center of Port and Airport Engineering (SCOPE) is pleased to announce that it has been awarded the Marine Warranty Survey (MWS) contract for the construction of Pattern Energy/GPI’s 112 megawatt Ishikari Offshore Wind project, located approximately three kilometers from the shore of the Ishikari Bay in Hokkaido, Japan.

“We’re excited to be working with GPI and Pattern Energy Group on the largest offshore wind power and storage project in Japan. Together with our partner – SCOPE, we are working as one team on the MWS work to assist the project on risk mitigation and loss prevention.” says Henrik Uth, CEO of Survey Association.

The Ishikari Offshore Wind project is expected to reach commercial operation in December of 2023 and will utilize 14 Siemens Gamesa 8.0 MW wind turbines.

Season's greetings from Survey Association.

Another year like no other! While many things have continued to be outside our control, we have managed to navigate the uncertainty and uncharted waters.

We're humbled and proud to look back at 2021! In addition to strong local presence in Japan and the US within the Offshore renewable industry, we have expanded in the Baltic to now also having offices in Poland and Lithuania, and seen a further strengthening of our local presence in Denmark.
At the same time, we have never had a stronger associate surveyor ecosystem - now with more than 250 local experienced surveyors in 61 countries across the globe.

Thank you for your continued support throughout 2021. We hope you have a Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy and prosperous 2022.

Survey Association of 1914 Ltd. (SA) establishes new office in Gdynia to support the Polish offshore wind market with Marine Consultancy and Warranty Services.

The office will be headed up by Pawel Sztorch and Peter Jermakow and will be working closely with SA Copenhagen on Renewable projects in the Baltics.

We are pleased to advise that Survey Association of 1914 Ltd. (SA) establishes new office in Klaipeda, Lithuania for marine consultancy and survey services. The office will be headed up by Allan Skovlund Nielsen.

The new Klaipeda office will support existing marine clients, whilst looking to provide marine survey services and marine consultancy to new clients across the Baltic countries.

Maersk Tankers and Survey Association of 1914 Ltd. have agreed to conduct a Proof Of Concept of remote surveying, with the objective of validating the application potential on Maersk Tankers’ vessels of a remote survey App for reporting marine incidents and vessel condition assessments.

“The SA Remote platform is to support the vessels in reducing the administrative burden, lessen the operational disruption from external surveyors and provide owners and Insurance companies with fast First Notification of Loss” says Henrik Nolsøe Dyrborg Uth, CEO of Survey Association.
