From my experience, there are two pretty reliable ways to tell if a road is going to be worth it. 👀
The first: you start seeing motorcycles and rally derived GR Yaris appearing around the next corner. The second: your GPS gives up trying to explain where you’re going. 😂 If either happens, you’re probably onto something.

I’ve had both indications quite a few times over the last few weeks. But the ultimate sign came when KEHRE11 picked a route through the Black Forest and my GPS basically left the chat. No idea where we were going anymore, but it didn’t really matter 🚀 Because sometimes the best roads are exactly the ones your navigation system can’t make sense of. 🍀🤌🏼

This wasn’t planned. Actually, none of it was. ☺️
I was going to stay home. Sleep in. “Just go another day.” Instead, I remembered what was waiting in the garage, got up early, grabbed the keys and pointed Giulia towards the Black Forest.

No route. No schedule. Just had a destination but mainly wanted to focus enjoying the drive. 🚀 Just me, my Giulia, and whatever the road wanted to show me…😍 And what a wonderful day it was. Turns out the best memories usually start with one simple question: “Should we go for a quick drive?”

Apparently I’m not tired of car meets. 🥳 I’m just tired of predictable ones. 🥲 This is what happens when people bring passion instead of following the same trend… Alfa Romeo next to Ferrari – Lancia next to Porsche – Cobra next to GT3 race cars. 🚀🫶🏼
Classics, modern performance cars, rally legends and everything in between ☺️ Suddenly you’re slowing down every few metres because there’s another car you’ve never really looked at before.

I think we need to clarify something… 🇮🇹
If you only saw past days HEIZR Club recaps, you’d think Hockenheim was all about the Germans… Meanwhile, 25 Italian cars quietly rolled into the paddock. Old racing Alfas, freshly built race cars, Giulias, Juniors, Abarths.
Raw and historical engines echoing through the pit lane long before the first session started. 🥳 No need for loud marketing and fancy furniture in the paddock. Because you recognize immediately: we are a group of true petrolheads who genuinely love driving Italian machinery and keeping it alive where it belongs: on track 🚀 Watching everyone prepare, wrench, laugh, race, break things and fix them again was honestly one of the highlights of the whole HEIZR Club Racing Department event for me.

So here’s a small correction to the official recap: The Italians were definitely there. And they brought plenty of cuore sportivo 🍀🇮🇹
