It’s almost time for the start of another British Super Bike Season and what an absolute cracker it looks set to be.

Some of the biggest names are ready to go again with some new faces set to join the grids this season.

It’s what we love about the BSB - we don’t just get to enjoy the quality of the riders we know and love but we also get to watch new and upcoming riders join the greatest show of all.

We cannot wait - We can also start our ‘spot the HEL Performance logo’ too which is always good fun. It’s coming soon - bring the noise

Sometimes, it is the impossible that people ask you to do. And with a team behind you, like the team at HEL HQ is, it is possible. Dream the dream!

HEL Performance | Deutschland

Earlier this month I found myself in Munich with our German Distributor Andreas. (He is the one with the facial hair - I am the youthful looking clean shaved one..... 😁)

It was to deliver some parts we had been working on for a large OEM customer who had asked us to do the impossible…

Could you design, make, assemble and deliver a full set of master cylinders with integral reservoir, two pot calipers and brackets all in polished aluminium next week ?

Hmmmm. Yes.

The point is that HEL Performance is all about team work - the design team who got this created in under 24 hours. The milling and turning departments who came in over the weekend to get all these sample parts made, the team that then assembled and packed them in my suitcase so I could leave at 2.30pm…

Flew out to Germany at 7.00pm from Heathrow. Met Andreas at the airport and drove to a hotel nearer the meeting. Delivered the full set the next day at 9am and met with various members of that company through the morning, drove back to Munich dropping in on three more ‘opportunities’ on the way to arrive back at the airport to fly back to the UK at 21.55 and home and in bed my 3.00 am. Up the next day at 7 to take the kids to school and go again 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

It’s what we do. Teamwork (and moustaches) makes the dream work.

Huge thanks to everyone at HEL HQ for doing the impossible. As normal.
