Sometimes we refuse to fit a customer-provided spare.
Not to be difficult.
To keep the unit safe, roadworthy and compliant.

• Wrong size or load/speed rating for the vehicle or axle
• Visible damage: cuts, bulges, exposed cords, sidewall puncture
• Tread too low to be roadworthy
• Dual tyres: the twin tyre on the same axle is not safe either
• Wrong tyre type for the job: steer / drive / trailer

On 15 May 2026, a dispatcher asked us:

Yes — including cross-border cases.
