A beloved Leeds United super fan has disappeared after a layover in Barcelona on his way to the USA.
Michael 'Little Mick' Hewitt is a familiar face to Leeds United fans across the globe.
He has spent decades following the club home and away.
But Mick never made it to Boston to watch England play their World Cup group game.
He left Leeds on Saturday, 20 June, and was travelling to the USA via Barcelona.
His family lost all contact with him in the early hours of the following Sunday morning while he was still in the Spanish city.
His brother Gary is now leading a desperate search to find out what happened.
Gary said: "Please could I ask for help in locating my brother, Michael Hewitt?"
"As you can imagine, we are now very worried for his safety."
Interpol has now been alerted to the disappearance.
The family expects to find out soon whether Mick ever boarded an onward flight to America or if he remained in Barcelona.
The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office has logged the case under reference number 02470905.
