RESUME ANUGA FOODTEC 2018

It was the first time that we were present at the Anuga FoodTec and we could impress with our hygienic designed gearboxes. Our gearboxes with the advantageous design and the surface of stainless steel are easy to clean and provide a perfect solution for the food and beverage industry. The visitors also had the opportunity to see a hygienic designed gearbox in action. A conveyor belt was driven by a HD-S 40 and a servomotor.

Thanks to its rounded and smooth surface, our CAVEX®compact provides an added value for the food industry. With the special exhibit in a partially transparent housing the CAVEX®compact left a lasting impression as well.

CAVEX® is present at the leading russian exhibition for the steel industry.

The 23rd international industrial exhibition of Metal Expo is on the way. The exhibition offers the whole range of various steel products and the necessary equipment for its manufacturing. All matters related to the steel industry will be in the focus of this event.

More than 550 companies from 32 countries all over the world will participate. Well-known steel and engineering companies as well as steel structures manufacturers will be among the exhibitors. Together with our Russian representative F&F from Saint Petersburg, CAVEX® will make its first appearance there. The F&F GmbH has been in business since 1993. Besides CAVEX® it also represents the companies Siemens, Flender and Gewes. Over decades CAVEX® gearboxes have been applied in many manufacturing plants and various applications in Russia. Because of its quality promise and the excellent reliability CAVEX® is a highly valued partner of the Russian industry.

Excellent in gearing, excellent in design.

Combined with further particularities like durability, excellent torque and efficiency the CAVEX®hygienic gears were an eye-catcher among the hygienic gears once again. “Go with the flow” was the slogan of the world’s leading trade fair for the beverage and liquid food industry, on which we were present for the first time. The result: numerous visitors from all over the world, distinctive conversations and an extraordinary ambience.

Our HD-S series of stainless steel gearboxes were shown in 3 different sizes (center distances 40, 50 and 63). Additional we presented an integrated gear motor in IP69k design, which was distinctively designed for the most demanding conditions. Last but not least we had a running hygienic design conveyor belt application, that was driven through a stainless steel HD-S / Servomotor combination.

We want to thank all our visitors for the interesting questions and discussions that we had during the exhibition. We will now work on the project request we received and are looking forward to meet you again!

Dutch OEM orders CAVEX®compact gear units for its Sterilizer Units.

A major Dutch OEM chose to apply CAVEX®compact gear units of the type CcDA 200 with ratio 34:1 to benefit from both the reliability of CAVEX® worm gears, as experienced since many years, as well as the cost savings from the new design casing. The application is in three new build sterilizer units – in which in-container sterilization of foods, pet foods, dairy products, pharmaceuticals and beverages is realized.

This sterilizer unit a minimum of four towers up to 20 meters in height separated by hydrostatic locks in which preheating, sterilizing, pressurized cooling and atmospheric cooling. The containers (such as cans, pots, bottles etc.) are placed in carriers which are transported by continuous chains though the different temperature and pressure areas. These chains require to be driven on both sides of each of the four towers where synchronization of chains and drives at high temperatures is of key importance.

For this the CAVEX®compact gear units are equipped with a through-going input shaft speed and interconnected by cardan shafts. Driven is this train by a speed central controlled electric motor. The CAVEX®compact units are shaft mounted on the sterilizer’s shafts driving the chain and carriers continuously through the sterilization process. These shafts can reach a temperature of 50°C. Each of the CAVEX®compact units is supported with a torque arm with load indicator.

For filling the successive carriers with the food containers as well the unloading of the carriers for further packing of the food containers this OEM uses the proven reliability of CAVEX® gear units.

Resume Pack Expo 2016, Chicago (6th – 9th of November 2016)

In November 2017, CAVEX attended Pack Expo Chicago for the first time. Join us as we relive our experiences in the windy city!

In co-operation with our American partners at FGGS, we attended the show with several people as well as our own booth, giving many interested visitors the opportunity to experience innovative products first-hand.

The CAVEXhygienic gears and gear motors, as well as the CAVEXcompact, all designed to have superior properties in regards to hygiene, modularity and efficiency, drew a constant stream of attention to our booth and convinced many of them that they truly are the best solution in the market.

During the 4 exhibition days we had many inspiring talks, meeting American companies and people from all over the world. Pack Expo truly was a great opportunity for networking and exposure.

CAVEX - HMI 2016 - A great success!
Hanover Fair, 25.-29.04.2016

The reaction to our product innovations and in particular the CAVEX(r)HD gearmotor in hygienic design was really outstanding. With its stainless steel case, which has been consistently designed according to the requirements of the food and pharmaceutical industry, we were in touch with the latest technical trends in gearbox manufacturing and in line with the expectations of our visitors. Already during the exhibitions days it had become widely known that innovative drive solutions could be found at the CAVEX booth. We had 60% more visits than last year of which almost 50% came from abroad.

We look forward to the next Hanover Fair. See you there!
