Last weekend we went together with our customer Ralf Woltering and the Boomerang to the south of Gertmany (Holzheim) for testing purposes. Before the beginning of the event Ralf could carry out a test run which was successful. Engine power and torque are sufficient but we did not get any grip on the track. Afterwards in the event the new pilot Anke Bartholome went for the first time behind the steering wheel of the Boomerang. After she had to get used to the single wheel brakes at the first run and left the track once to the left, she put on a full pull directly at the second attempt. Thus she secured us the 1st place in the 3.5t free class in Holzheim. The Bommerang fulfilled his job. The newly revised engine and our sequential ignition system harmonize perfectly. At the last and third pull shortly after each other the not optimal mechanical methanol injection forced the Bommerang through extreme overrichening of the mixture into the knees. At this point there is still a lot of potential for improvement. Nevertheless it was enough for the victory and we drove back with the cup and Boomerang intact again.

Am vergangenen Wochenende ging es gemeinsam mit unserem Kunden Ralf Woltering und dem Boomerang zu Testzwecken in den Süden nach Holzheim. Vor Beginn der Veranstaltung konnte Ralf einen Testlauf durchführen der erfolgreich verlief. Motorleistung und Drehmoment ausreichend vorhanden, jedoch bekamen wir keinen Grip auf der Bahn. Anschließend in der Veranstaltung begab sich die neue Pilotin Anke Bartholome zum ersten mal hinter das Steuer des Boomerang. Nachdem Sie sich beim ersten Lauf an die Einzelradbremsen gewöhnen mußte und einmal zur linken Seite die Strecke verließ, legte Sie direkt beim zweiten Anlauf einen Full Pull hin. Damit sicherte sie uns den 1.Platz in der 3.5t freien Klasse in Holzheim. Der Bommerang erfüllte seinen Job. Der neu überarbeitete Motor und unser sequentielles Zündsystem harmonieren einwandfrei. Beim letzten und dritten Pull kurz hintereinander zwang die nicht optimale mechanische Methanoleinspritzung den Bommerang durch extremes Überfetten des Gemischs in die Knie. An dieser Stelle gibt es noch viel Verbesserungspotential. Trotzdem reichte es für den Sieg und wir fuhren mit dem Pokal und heilem Boomerang wieder zurück.
