NLS 10 marked the season finale of the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, but unfortunately the weekend didn’t go quite as planned.
Our Lamborghini Huracán GT3 EVO 2 ran flawlessly throughout the weekend. However, during his first stint on Friday, it became clear that Dieter Schmidtmann would be unable to compete due to a previous sports injury. With Christoph Breuer still recovering from his broken elbow, the decision was made to let Kiki Sak Nana take on the race solo, giving him the opportunity to gain as much valuable track time as possible.
Starting from P38, Kiki gave it everything he had, fighting his way up to P18 at one point and gaining an impressive 20 positions. 💪 After 2 hours and 40 minutes behind the wheel, he decided to call it a day rather than push beyond his limits and take unnecessary risks. We’re incredibly proud of his performance and determination throughout the race.
Unfortunately, things didn’t go as smoothly for our Cayman. The car had been meticulously prepared and had passed all measurements on the dyno, but an unexpected error appeared during Friday’s practice, one that had never occurred during the previous testing. The team worked tirelessly to identify and resolve the issue, replacing several components and receiving valuable support from Manthey in an effort to get the car ready for Saturday’s race. Despite everyone’s best efforts, the problem persisted, forcing us to retire the Cayman after the formation lap.
While NLS 10 wasn’t the season finale we had hoped for, we’re proud of the hard work, commitment and teamwork shown by everyone involved throughout the weekend.
With that, our 2026 NLS season comes to an end. It’s been a year full of challenges, ups and downs, and valuable lessons along the way.
A huge thank you to our drivers, the entire team and everyone who supported us throughout the season. ❤️
