Our i8Procar is as capable as ever! 4 years and covid behind - Fresh tires and a new i8 lap record at Bilster Berg 1:49.654! Only the GLI Radical monoplace race cars, a highly transformed Lamborghini Huracan STO and a KTM oxbow all on slicks were quicker. All Porsches including a 997cup and a few 992 GT3RSs were slower and could NOT beat the 1:50.000 mark. 🏎️🙂🏁

Once and for all - the i8 won’t have a successor! Instead BMW is testing a fully electric Coupé which will be part of the NEUE KLASSE family of EVs. It’s closer to the current 4 Series Coupé then to the 8 Series or i8. That’s very good news for i8 owners who are intending to keep their cars. Rare set of i8 Safetycar wheels for SALE at EDO Motorsport

EDO Motorsport is offering a set of the Formula e i8 Safetycar wheels. Square set up of 9x20’. At 8.4kg lighter then the skinnier OEM wheels. Can be fittes with the Factory tires 215/45 front and 245/40 rear. Or 245/40 square. For those who like a staggered tire set 245/40 front and 275/35 rear would be one good option. Can be used with the OEM bolts.
