FROM OUR YARD LIBRARY: BOOK OF THE WEEK

A piece of sailing history, dating back to 1895.
This beautifully timeworn eighth edition of A Manual of Yacht and Boat Sailing by Dixon Kemp offers a fascinating glimpse into the world of yachting over 130 years ago.

Published in London, the book was considered so valuable that the Admiralty directed it to be issued to ships of the Royal Navy.
Its weathered pages, marks and imperfections tell a story of their own — a reminder of a time when seamanship was passed down through books, experience and a deep understanding of wind and sea.

Another true piece of sailing history.
AR, a stunning 125 m² „Seefahrtkreuzer“ designed by Henry Rasmussen and built by Abeking & Rasmussen in 1936. Originally built as Rasmussen’s personal yacht, this 19.27-metre classic is a masterpiece of traditional yacht craftsmanship.
