How much impact can a billet compressor wheel actually handle?

We put one to an extreme stress test using a hammer. As you can see, the main body of the wheel remains completely intact and structural integrity holds up. However, under the heavy force of direct blows, the compressor blades shatter rather than just bending.

This demonstrates the high hardness and rigidity of CNC-machined forged aluminum, but it also highlights a critical point for real-world operation: at extreme RPMs, even the smallest piece of foreign debris acting as an impact can instantly destroy the blades and cause severe turbo failure.

The TTE1210 is the smartest choice for your Porsche 992 Turbo.
Extracting over 1,000 HP from the 3.8L twin-turbo flat-six is a complex challenge. While large aftermarket options require extensive workarounds and loss of factory features, our TTE1210 remains fully compatible with the stock VTG system.

Both the clockwise and counterclockwise rotating turbochargers are equipped with mirrored, significantly larger compressor and turbine wheels. This provides a massive boost in airflow while preserving factory-like drivability and seamless OEM integration.
