Das Unternehmen

In 2006 übernahm Bernhard Kerkloh das Unternehmen Movendi the spirit of classic cars von Dirk Petersmann. Als ehemaliger Vorstand von MLP hat Petersmann im Jahre 1999 den exklusiven Handel von hochwertigen Oldtimer-Klassiker gegründet und ganz neue Akzente in der Szene gesetzt. Bernhard Kerkloh, der zuvor bei Auto Becker Düsseldorf, bei Tamsen in Hamburg und bei Premium-Cars Peters in Dortmund sein Handwerk erlernte, zog mit Movendi in das im September 2006 neu eröffnete Meilenwerk in Düsseldorf. Dort war er seit der ersten Stunde mit einer Ausstellungsfläche von über 500 qm der größte Händler im Verbund der 36 Mietern. Im Jahre 2008 erweiterte sich die Ausstellungsfläche sogar auf über 700 qm. Seit Oktober 2012 ist Movendi mit einer Filiale in Brügge in Belgien vertreten. Dort liegt die Konzentration auf eine stille und persönliche Vermarktung von ausgesuchten Raritäten. Das Fahrzeugangebot umfasst heute 40 bis 50 Oldtimer. Der Schwerpunkt des Angebotes liegt bei Klassikern der dreißiger bis siebziger Jahre. Immer wieder sind große Raritäten im Portfolio zu finden, die so nur selten in den Markt kommen. Durch die Präsenz bei wichtigen Veranstaltungen wie die der Techno Classica, der Mille Miglia; Goodwood oder auch die meisten wichtigen Auktionen hat das Unternehmen immer einen guten Einblick vom Markt. Mit Movendi verbinden Kunden, Partner und Mitarbeiter einzigartige persönliche Erlebnisse mit Oldtimern – von der anfänglichen Idee bis zur ersten Begegnung, vom wohlüberlegten Erwerb bis über lange Jahre des stolzen Besitzes. Der Triumph-Bogen, der für Messeauftritte konzipiert wurde, ist heute zum internationalen Erkennungszeichen der Firma geworden. In den weltweiten Magazinen der Klassik-Szene finden sich jedes Jahr viele Fotos des Bogens mit den darum zum Verkauf stehenden Exponaten. Diese Wiedererkennung trägt sicherlich auch im Teilbereich zum wachsenden Erfolg des Unternehmens bei.
