Silverrudder - 2023:

Our Marlin 33 is still a boat, which operates in it’s own galaxy…

Jan Andersen, genius designer, constructor and singlehand sailor once more declassified all other trimarans (monohulls anyway) in an impressive start-finish leading race with actual more than 3 hours advantage of the second Boat Dragonfly 40 c “performance”.

I really love the DF 40 for its accommodation, its space and of course for the legendary Dragonfly quality of building - but in race conditions it is far away from a match for BLACK MARLIN.

BLACK MARLIN vs DRAGONFIRE - 2022 an epic fight with a lucky and clear winner.

The first hours It looked like another “boring” Start-Finish Victory for record holder Jan Andersen on BLACK MARLIN after records and victories for many years.

But due to very light wind conditions and countercurrent - what is good for the extreme narrow and light race machine DRAGONFIRE - and of course Jens Quorning is also an excellent race sailor! - somewhere in the North of Fyn Jens got him and increased his lead for many hours.

On the last 30 miles to Svendborg “some new hope” occurs for BLACK MARLIN, but Jens Quorning brought home the DRAGONFIRE victory safely.

A GREAT RACE, sporting appreciation and congratulations!

Keine 60 Stunden mehr, dann wird anlässlich SILVERRUDDER 2022 aus dem “Familien-Cruiser” wieder ein Einhand-Carbon-Geschoss mit echter Renn-DNA.

Dazu werden lediglich der Restproviant vom Schottland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿- Norwegen 🇳🇴- Törn und eventuell die Kojenpolster ausgeräumt, ansonsten ist das Boot 1:1 gleich konfiguriert.

Die "Black Marlin" ist ein Trimaran für ausgedehnte Familientörns, der zugleich Seriensieger im Silverrudder ist. Jetzt soll sie in Serie gehen.
