🇩🇪 Morgens am Fjord aufwachen. Mittags durch Kristiansands Caféviertel cruisen. Der CROSSCAMP EXPLR macht keinen Unterschied. Wir auch nicht.

Morgens am Fjord aufwachen. Mittags durch Kristiansands Caféviertel cruisen. Der CROSSCAMP EXPLR macht keinen Unterschied. Wir auch nicht.
Unser letzter Stop in Norwegen: Kristiansand. Während ELMNT und EXPDN die Naturaufnahmen schon in der Tasche hatten, war für den EXPLR jetzt sein Moment gekommen.

Vor der Fähre noch schnell durch die Waschanlage, dann rein in die Stadt. Backsteinfassaden, moderne Glas-Holz-Architektur, kleine Cafés, der moderne Hafen. Der EXPLR sieht überall richtig aus, ohne dass man ihn irgendwo verstecken muss. Das ist genau die Idee.

Ihr kennt das: Mit einem klassischen Wohnmobil bist du in der Stadt manchmal der Typ, der drei Mal um den Block fahren muss, um eine Parklücke zu finden – und dann doch irgendwo am Stadtrand stehenbleibt. Mit dem EXPLR? Parkst du vor deinem Lieblings-Café. Und fährst abends trotzdem zum See.

Norwegen war der perfekte Test. Stadt, Natur, Fjord, Fähre, lange Tage, kurze Nächte.

Our final stop in Norway: Kristiansand. Whilst the ELMNT and EXPDN already had their nature shots in the bag, the EXPLR’s moment had now arrived.

You know how it is: with a classic motorhome, you’re sometimes the sort of person who has to drive round the block three times to find a parking space – and then ends up parked somewhere on the outskirts of town anyway. With the EXPLR? You park right outside your favourite café. And still head to the lake in the evening.

Norway was the perfect test. City, nature, fjords, ferries, long days, short nights. The EXPLR handled it all and always looked the part. That’s exactly how it should be.

🇩🇪 Eine Woche Norwegen. Drei CROSSCAMP Modelle. Jedes mit eigenem Charakter. Wir zeigen euch, warum wir alle drei gebraucht haben 👇

Als wir in Isny mit dem Konvoi losgerollt sind, war schnell klar: Diese Produktion wird anders. Kein Hotel als Basecamp. Stattdessen drei Fahrzeuge, die gleichzeitig unsere Unterkunft, unser Office und unser mobiles Studio waren.

Der CROSSCAMP EXPLR war unser Scout. Kompakt, wendig, perfekt für spontane Abstecher zu Locations, die wir aus dem Auto heraus entdeckt haben. Enge Gassen in Kristiansand? Kein Problem. Er ist der Urban Camper, der überall hin passt – von der Stadt bis zum Trail.

Der CROSSCAMP ELMNT war unser Social Hub. Hier wurde gekocht, gechillt und am Abend zusammengesessen. Tür auf, Klapptisch raus, jemand schnippelt Gemüse, jemand anderes sichtet das Material vom Tag. Dieser Van ist gebaut für genau diese Momente: flexibel, praktisch, entspannt.

Der CROSSCAMP EXPDN war unser Headquarter. Wenn die ganze Crew zusammenkommen musste, wenn Equipment sortiert wurde oder nach einem langen Drehtag einfach Platz gebraucht wurde – dann im EXPDN.
Drei unterschiedliche Fahrzeuge, alle mit demselben Ziel: die Reise nicht kompliziert zu machen, sondern möglich.

The CROSSCAMP EXPLR was our scout. Compact, manoeuvrable, perfect for spontaneous detours to locations we’d spotted from the car. Narrow streets in Kristiansand? No problem. It’s the urban camper that fits in anywhere – from the city to the trail.

The CROSSCAMP ELMNT was our social hub. This is where we cooked, chilled out and sat together in the evenings. Door open, folding table out, someone chopping veg, someone else sifting through the day’s footage. This van is built for precisely these moments: flexible, practical, relaxed.

The CROSSCAMP EXPDN was our headquarters. When the whole crew needed to get together, when equipment was being sorted, or when we simply needed space after a long day of filming – that’s when we headed to the EXPDN.

🇩🇪 Unsere Norwegen-Produktion lief perfekt. Bis die norwegischen Schafe entschieden, dass SIE jetzt die Stars sind. Spoiler: Sie hatten recht.

Letztens waren wir mit drei brandneuen CROSSCAMP Modellen auf der Hochebene Tjorhom unterwegs. Mission: epische Fahraufnahmen auf dieser unfassbar cinematischen Strecke durch Norwegens Wildnis einfangen. Realität: Jede dritte Aufnahme wurde von Schafen photobombt, die null Respekt vor unserem Shooting-Plan hatten.

Und wisst ihr was? Genau diese ungeplanten Momente machen solche Produktionen aus. Wenn du mit dem Van unterwegs bist, läuft eh nie alles nach Plan. Und genau DAS ist der Vibe. Spontan bleiben.

Die Hochebene selbst? Unfassbar. Felsen, Seen, Flüsse und eine Straße, die sich endlos durch die Landschaft schlängelt. Der CROSSCAMP EXPLR, ELMNT und EXPDN haben jeden Stopp mitgemacht – von denen es echt viele gab, weil man alle 500 Meter wieder aus dem Auto springen will, um diesen View festzuhalten.

🇬🇧 Our Norway shoot went perfectly. Until the Norwegian sheep decided that THEY were the stars now. Spoiler: they were right.

We were recently out and about on the Tjorhom plateau with three brand-new CROSSCAMP models. Mission: to capture epic driving footage on this incredibly cinematic route through Norway’s wilderness. Reality: Every third shot was photobombed by sheep who had zero respect for our shooting schedule.

And you know what? It’s precisely these unplanned moments that make productions like this special. When you’re on the road in a van, nothing ever goes to plan anyway. And THAT is exactly the vibe. Stay spontaneous.

The plateau itself? Unbelievable. Rocks, lakes, rivers and a road that winds endlessly through the landscape. The CROSSCAMP EXPLR, ELMNT and EXPDN were with us at every stop – and there were loads of them, because you want to jump out of the car every 500 metres to capture that view.
