From bare structure to the finished piece. Every HWA EVO steering wheel is built up layer by layer, with each stage shaping the character of the final result.
The foundation
It begins with the original structural core. Stripped back to its essentials, this is the starting point from which the entire steering wheel is reimagined.
The form
The rim is then reshaped and built up to create the new profile. The grip sections, proportions and flat lower section begin to give the wheel its distinctly more focused character.
The craftsmanship
The wheel is individually trimmed in leather, combining smooth and perforated sections with carefully executed stitching and a contrasting centre marker. This is where the tactile character starts to come to life.
The integration
The internal structure, mounting elements and supporting components are assembled around the finished rim, preparing the wheel for its controls and final surfaces.
The final piece
Gloss black detailing, carbon elements, integrated controls and the HWA centre complete the transformation. What began as a bare frame becomes a completely bespoke interface between driver and HWA EVO.
