What is SEAMLESS shifting? ⚙️

A seamless shift does not require ignition cut, fuel cut or any other torque reduction method during the upshift.

In a Kotouč Gearboxes SEAMLESS gearbox, two gears are engaged simultaneously for a few milliseconds. The previous gear is then automatically disengaged due to the design of the dog gear and dog ring.

The result? No drivetrain power loss and faster acceleration.

Because no torque reduction is required to change gear, power from the engine in the next gear is instantaneous.

For racers chasing every fraction of a second, seamless shifting can make a real difference.
