Central tie rod on FSO Polonez from 1996 with 46.000km (28.500mi) on odometer. Condition of the rest of the car suggests its the original mileage.
Is this normal quality for Polish parts?
Tip for those who own fiat 132/Argenta diesel: central tie rod with bend in the middle fits from Polonez 1.4 petrol and 1.9 diesel

Bringing our old Fiats into 21st century - 3d scan and CAD design of side trim pieces for Fiat 132.

Since these rubber trim pieces are prone to deterioration over time and are becoming increasingly difficult to find in good condition, we've managed to find and buy a full set of new old stock trims with a primary focus on making reproduction sets in the future.
First step done, what next? My first idea is casting them in polyurethane. Open to suggestions, what are your thoughts?

Reinforcement of lower suspension arms for Fiat 1300/1500 sedan, 1500/1600 spider, Fiat Dino, Fiat 125, 132, Argenta, Polski 125 and FSO Polonez.
First pic borrowed from the web: standard look of lower suspension arm.
Rest of pics show 2mm sheet steel reinforcement welded, grinded and painted.
The end result is a bit stiffer suspension arm, far less flexible and therefore steering feel and response will be much improved, coupled with polyurethane suspension bushings.

Important! Above mentioned models don't all use exactly same suspension arms. They vary in length and method of sway bar attachment.

Ready to install.
Sandblasted, repainted in correct shade of grey metallic using period correct technique which results in semigloss finish, painstakingly protected from over spray and then 4 "spokes" resprayed in correct charcoal grey, not black like everyone does it.
Last pic, comparison with new old stock side trim. Of course, it is next to impossible to get exactly same color on rubber and on metal, but close enough for me.
