Recently, we had a very special guest at Butcher Garage Andi ✌🏻
An automotive engineer who’s been deep into SI carbs for the last ten years and has developed his own way of making big-cylinder setups work with small carbs. His own emulsion tubes, sliders, countless experiments — basically, the guy doesn’t really do things the easy way.
We spent pretty much the whole day together. Talking Vespa, engines, custom builds, old-school solutions and new ideas. Then we decided to put his stuff to the test — fitted his parts to one of our Vespas and took it out for a ride.
And yeah, the difference was definitely there.
But honestly, the best part was the day itself. Being able to spend hours talking engines, bouncing ideas around, arguing over details and then just saying, “F**k it, let’s try it.”
That’s how the interesting stuff usually starts.
