3 tips to find a suitable plastic injection mold maker in China

There are lots of different level plastic injection mold maker in China, and it is really difficult to find a suitable one at the beginning. I have worked in injection plastic mold field over 10 years, and here are some ideas for customer to find the suitable plastic injection mold maker in China as bellow:

1. Know price range you can accept

It is easy to find the supplier & get the offers there, but you should know the price range you can accept at first. Most of trading customers always choose the lowest price, it is high risk to do this. As we know, You will get what you pay for. In fact, there is no the lowest price in China, only lower and lower price. The only possible way to work with the lowest price supplier, that is the part are very easy to make no matter who will produce for you.

2. Ask suppliers to show their capability

The capability here is not the quantity of machines or workers. Most of product designer are not familiar with mold design or mold manufacturing(http://www.ambitionmould.com/plastic-mould-manufacturing/), so it is always necessary to update the design drawing. You can ask suppliers in your price range to give the comments on your design drawing and tell you how to update that if necessary. If there is no need to improve the design, you also can ask the suppliers to tell you the difficult points on your mold making.

3. Local customer reference

If you are satisfied with above 2 points on a supplier, the last thing for you is asking the supplier to provide local customer for reference. You can contact reference customer and get the useful information from their local customer there, such as mold quality, deliver time, service and so on.
