2. Part matching: Check whether all parts match, especially the movable parts, such as mold inserts, sliders, etc., to ensure that they can work normally under the operating temperature and pressure.
3. Assembly sequence: Follow the manufacturer's recommended sequence to assemble the mold. The datum parts are usually installed first, followed by the guide system, gating system, etc.
4. Gap adjustment: Adjust the gap between various parts of the mold, especially the parting surface, slider and ejection mechanism. Proper clearance ensures smooth opening and closing and extends mold life.
5. Install the cooling system: Make sure the cooling pipes are installed correctly in the mold, have no leaks, and can cool the mold evenly.
