What is the difference between European standard and Chinese standard charger?
Now we’re gonna compare from certification, electric property, reliability, safety and price.
First, generally speaking, the European standard charger passed CE certification, and is mainly used in the EU region, and the Chinese standard passed GB/T certification, and is mainly used in China mainland. In terms of differences, the main differences are in the plug interface, communication, and charging sequence. Other electric properties are roughly the same.
In terms of components, the reliability of European standard components are relatively high, and the cost is higher too.
In a word, the European standard is more focused on safety, but the Chinese standard is more focused on electric property.
Speaking of price-performance ratio, Not surprisingly, the Chinese standard charger is higher, and the later maintenance cost and spare parts will be much cheaper.
At last, if there is no standard in your country, it is recommended to choose Chinese standard. If there is already a mainstream standard in the local area, for the sake of uniformity and convenience, you should buy it according to the local standard.
