Members of Autoneum’s 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐫 and 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐧𝐤 𝑬𝒙𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒕 𝑵𝒆𝒕𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒌 recently came together in China for an intensive exchange across regions, functions and locations.

During 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐬 to 𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐮𝐦 𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐬 and 𝐬𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐬, the international team explored technologies, OEM requirements, and potential opportunities. The focus was on combining different perspectives, exchanging best practices and identifying ideas with relevance beyond individual markets.

With expertise from China, Europe and the Americas coming together, the visit demonstrated the 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐮𝐦’𝐬 𝐠𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐧𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 and the value of connecting knowledge across regions.

A big 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐤 𝐲𝐨𝐮 to everyone involved in the organization of the event (especially the Autoneum Shanghai office, R&T China, Huanyu headquarters, Yixing, Taicang, Shenyang and Wuqing/Tianjing plants), for the open exchange, great collaboration, and valuable input throughout the visit!

𝐀 𝐬𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐠𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐜𝐚𝐮𝐬𝐞 ⛳

Tom Nicklin, Production Planner at Autoneum Stoke-on-Trent, organized a charity golf day in memory of a close family friend and raised an incredible £𝟏𝟕,𝟏𝟐𝟗.𝟓𝟑 for 𝐃𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐢𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐜 𝐇𝐨𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐜𝐞, supporting people living with life-limiting illnesses and their families. The event brought together 92 golfers, colleagues, family members and friends, all contributing through donations, sponsorships, raffle prizes and auction items. The original fundraising target of £5,000 was exceeded by more than three times.

This achievement highlights the impact that personal commitment, community spirit and collective action can have when people come together for a meaningful cause. 💚

Most colleagues and visitors know Anita as one of the first points of contact at our headquarters in Winterthur. Few know about the firefighter chapter of her story.

Anita’s journey at Autoneum began with a job advertisement pinned to her fridge and 𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝟐𝟓 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬, including 15 years in a volunteer company fire department. And as if that story weren’t remarkable enough, that’s also where she met her husband.
