This short video from a customer shows that the eMT F1 Relay ECU is reporting a Early Warning code 7 on his car (7 beeps repeated 5 times).

Warning code 7 means that the pump is priming well too often. It's triggered when the pump has been priming 10 consecutive times with too short rest times of less than 15 seconds between each cycle. Consecutive means that the issue is really persistent and at this rate, the pump is not going to last long, don't ignore it.

This warning code indicates that the hydraulic system is not holding up the pressure long enough and can be caused by:

- Worn/too old hydraulic accumulator
- Leaking solenoid valves, seals, banjos, hoses
- Clogged high pressure filter
- Leaking TOB
- Internal actuator leaks or loose bleed screws
- Internal E-DIFF leaks or stuck open solenoid valve (F430)
- etc

Smart eMT F1 Relay ECU for pump relay

10 years ago we designed a Smart pump motor driver to replace the F1 hydraulic pump relay on cars like Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, Audi R8 or BMW.

This is an nice installation made of our DUO CAT ECU on a Ferrari F355.

This Plug & Play high pression Catalyst Thermocouple Control Unit ECU is a direct replacement of both unreliable OEM thermocouple ECUs well known to fail or give false warnings. With only one of our Control Unit replacing both OEM ECUs, both catalyzer temperatures are measured in perfectly identical way with well more accuracy and integrates also thermocouple sensor failure detection.

Effective August 29th, 2025, the United States will suspend the duty-free de minimis exemption for all low-value commercial shipments entering the country. Imported goods that are valued at or under $800 and that would otherwise qualify for the de minimis exemption are subject to all applicable duties, to be paid in accordance with applicable entry and regular payment procedures.

All imports in the USA from all countries, including those valued at or under $800, will now be subject to applicable U.S. duties and taxes to be paid by the importer or recipient.

Customs clearance may take longer due to the increased volume of entries.

Please be aware that before the above suspension is applied, the last shipments for the USA will be made on Thursday 28th 2025 - 10:00am CEST if the products are in stock.

The "SSB - Smart Suspension Bypass ECU" has already been installed on a good number of Ferrari 360s to eliminate the OEM Skyhook suspension ECU and cancel the suspension failure light. Since the Sport button is directly connected to the OEM Skyhook ECU, if you want to preserve this function also used by the ABS and engine ECUs, here a tip how to do this:

Shunt pin 9 (MB) and 15 (BC) on the Shyhook ECU connector marked in blue (these two wires must be connected together).

Among other of our upgrades, the "Smart F1 Relay ECU" and the "Smart E-DIFF Bypass ECU" were also recently installed on a USA F430 2007 F1.

The owner, more than happy, expressed:

"I believe the transmission is smoother, the jerkiness is gone at low speeds and the shifts are smooth. Did you install a double clutch while I was asleep? Anyway very pleased with how the car shifts."

We recently had another case where the "Smart eMT F1 Relay ECU" wasn't "working" on a Ferrari 360 USA spec. The picture sent by the owner shows that the electronic relay has been installed by a previous owner on the wrong location and replaced the air injection pump relay instead of the F1 pump relay.

Not only it doesn't fit correctly there, it's no surprise that it cannot operate correctly and will alert at each cold start. As explained in our installation guides, the F1 pump relay of the 360 USA spec (Euro spec doesn't have an air injection pump) is always located ABOVE the air injection pump relay.
