What began as a family-owned aerial spraying business has grown into a multi-generational operation dedicated to supporting farmers across the region. This season, the third generation has stepped in as ground crew, following in the footsteps of their parents and grandparents.

Even though the MICCAR Group of Companies has expanded into many segments of aviation — including Aircraft Maintenance, Air Charter, and Aerospace Manufacturing — our Aerial Spray business still remains important to us and holds a special place in our history.

This season is a proud reminder that the values we started with — hard work and commitment to our farming partners — are being carried forward.

We want to thank our customers for their continued trust and wish them a safe and successful upcoming harvest.

It is always a good practice to check a couple different spots in the field to make sure the crop is at the proper stage of maturity.

Today we are going to highlight a pest bug that maybe does not get talked about much. Today we are going to highlight Thrips. They are a pest in barley crops, but they can also cause feeding damage in wheat and oats.
