McIvor Automotive Service McIvor Automotive is a 3rd generation family run automotive repair shop in Kingston's west end dedic Quality service, from our family to yours.

McIvor Automotive was founded in 1984 by Reginald McIvor when he decided to open up a small shop of his own after many years of working in the industry. As the years went by his youngest son, Michael, couldn't seem to keep his head out from under the hood either and pretty soon Reg had an apprentice, and eventual partner in the business. As the business grew, so did the demand for a bigger space s

o in 2000 they broke ground and built a larger shop on Creekford Road, north of Westbrook. After 50 years of passionately working on cars, Reg retired in 2005 but the multi-generation story didn't end there. In 2015, Tyler, Michael's son decided to join the family business. Tyler is currently an Automotive Mechanic Apprentice who is dedicated to learning. This past year, Michaels daughter, Shelby, joined the family business as a Service Advisor.

Our deepest condolences go out to the family and friends of the victims of a tragic plane crash that happened near us last night.

We would like to thank our customers for being respectful of police and other professionals working who they may have passed today coming to their appointments.

We will not be making any comments to the media, messages regarding the tragic accident will not be responded to. We do not feel it is respectful to make any comments and will leave that to the police.

Hi everyone! We are back from our two weeks of holidays and have resumed regular hours, Monday- Friday 8am-5pm. I am currently going though all the messages and will be getting back to everyone this afternoon.
