We are a busy towing and car rental company looking for a reliable, hard-working, and adaptable individual to join our team in a full-time Automotive Support & Vehicle Detailer role.

Position Overview:
You will be responsible for ensuring our fleet of 30+ rental vehicles are cleaned, inspected, and ready to go — often on very short notice. You’ll also assist with light mechanical work, customer roadside assistance, and general yard organization. This is a physically demanding, fast-paced role with a lot of moving parts.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean, vacuum, and detail rental vehicles quickly and thoroughly between rentals
Move vehicles around the yard and between locations
Respond to sudden schedule changes and prioritize tasks on the fly
Perform roadside assistance (boosts, tire changes, lockouts) for both customers and fleet vehicles
Perform basic mechanical work such as changing tires and inspecting fluids
Keep accurate records of work done on rental vehicles
Keep the lot organized and ensure vehicles are road-ready
Assist with towing operations when needed
Maintain high attention to detail and a strong work ethic under pressure
Occasionally work evenings, weekends, or holidays as business demands
Operate in all weather conditions: rain, snow, heat, and cold
Communicate effectively with dispatch and coworkers
Accept feedback and continuously improve
Requirements:
✅ Valid Driver’s License (Class 5 or equivalent)
✅ Clean Driver’s Abstract (Required for insurance coverage)
✅ Must be 23+ years old (Insurance requirement)
✅ Mechanically inclined – able to change tires and perform light mechanical work
✅ Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and working on your feet all day
✅ Able to drive and work safely in winter/icy conditions
✅ Flexible and dependable – can handle shifting priorities calmly
✅ Willing to work outdoors year-round in all types of weather
✅ Willing to take direction, accept constructive criticism, and work well with others
Bonus Skills (Not required but a strong asset):
Experience detailing or working with rental vehicles
Experience in towing, recovery, or roadside assistance
Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and inspection processes
Familiarity with basic tools and safety procedures
Strong customer service skills when assisting with roadside calls
