And once again — real facts that Carfax could not show.

A client contacted us because:
📉 Carfax did not confirm the low mileage — simply not enough data in the system.
📸 Interior photos looked suspicious — didn’t match the claimed mileage.

But diagnostics revealed the truth:
✅ Mileage confirmed through vehicle control modules — matches the seller’s statement.
The reason Carfax had no records:
➡️ the car had only one owner
➡️ it was serviced only at a single dealership, which didn’t upload data into Carfax.

Here’s what we reported to the client:

🔧 Body condition:
Roof and hood repainted — professionally, no accident signs.
No rust.
🧭 Mileage:
Real, confirmed via diagnostics.
🛠 Engine:
The ticking noise really sounds like a lifter, not a rocker — not a critical issue.
⚠️ Dashboard light:
It was the stability control activity indicator, not a fault.
No error codes in the stability system.
🚘 Brakes & Tires:
Fresh tires
Good brakes

The first snow is already on the roads — and worn or all-season tires can quickly become a real safety risk.

• Check tread depth (safe winter driving starts at 5–6 mm)
• Make sure you’re using real winter tires, not all-season
• Check the tire’s manufacturing date (older than 6 years = reduced grip)
• Verify proper tire pressure — it always drops in cold weather
• Inspect rims, wheel bolts, brakes and suspension before winter trips

🧊 Important: Only winter tires can perform safely in freezing temperatures.
It’s simply impossible to create a rubber compound that works equally well from –30°C to +30°C.
Winter tires stay soft and grippy in the cold — all-season tires become hard like plastic and lose traction.

This Jeep Cherokee looked clean and “well-kept” in the listing.
The seller said: “No accidents. Good condition.”

Here is what the real inspection showed:

❌ Entire roof covered with body filler
❌ Decorative wrap used to hide repair
❌ Front right door replaced
❌ Front right fender repainted
❌ AWD system not working
❌ Vehicle needs new tires
❌ Multiple active and stored fault codes found (BCM, TPMS, EPS, DTCM, seat system)
