Vernaus Auto Body is looking for a reliable, detail-oriented team member to join our shop as a Shop Hand / Detailer / Driver.

What you’ll be doing:

-Detailing vehicles top to bottom, inside and out, ensuring every car leaves looking its best
-Pre & Post-repair vehicle checks for quality control
-Keeping the shop and work areas clean, safe, and organized
-Customer pick-ups and drop-offs, so you must be comfortable interacting with people in a friendly, professional way

What you need:

-Valid driver’s license – required
-Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
-Able to work in a fast-paced body shop environment
-Experience is an asset, but we’re willing to train the right person

🚗 Hail Damage Update for MPI Customers 🚗

Last week’s severe weather has resulted in ∼20,000 MPI claims so far — the highest volume from a single weather event that MPI has seen. To handle this, MPI has set up a temporary response process to get customers answers faster.

If you’ve filed a hail claim online:
Check your email. MPI is sending claim numbers and next steps based on your location.

For customers in Winnipeg, you have 2 options:

Option 1: MPI’s Hail Response Centre
📍 Gateway Service Centre is now a dedicated Hail Response Centre for initial damage assessments.
Choose this if:

You’re unsure how bad the damage is
You’re unsure if your vehicle is repairable
Your vehicle is a 2016 model year or earlier
Your appointment will determine if the vehicle is likely repairable or a write-off. If repairable, a full estimate is next.

Option 2: Come straight to a Direct Repair shop like Vernaus Auto Body
✅ We’re an MPI-accredited Direct Repair shop.
If you know you want to repair your vehicle, you can skip the Response Centre and come to us directly for a complete damage estimate.
