This Mini Cooper rolled in running pretty rough. After a bit of diagnostics, our technicians popped the valve cover and found a full-blown sludge party—so thick it was nearly clogging the PCV valve. Regular oil changes aren’t just a suggestion… they’re what keep your engine from turning into this gelatinous goo! Lots of short trips without fully warming up the engine can also cause buildup like this over time.

10/10 would not recommend the mayo milkshake .

We are having a bit of trouble with the phones at our 3600 Tecumseh Rd E location. We are down to only one line so if you do call you may get a busy signal. We are working to get it fixed as soon as possible. Grinch stole our phone lines.

The construction continues . Looks like the project on Tecumseh Rd has moved to paving . Currently with the road closures we have the best way to get into the shop is by going through Central avenue and turning right into the alley behind the building, or by going through central and right onto Guy st, then a right again on Labadie up to the store.

There have been some new road closures by our 3600 Tecumseh Rd E store this morning. Part of the ongoing construction project on Tecumseh Rd , they have shut down access to Central Ave in both directions. Due to today’s construction we also no longer have access to water (and our washrooms). We are being told that this is only for today so we really appreciate everyone’s patience as we continue on.

We made a map to show the “easiest/best/only” way to get to our store. Enjoy our wonderful Microsoft paint skills .

Hey everyone! We know it’s hot out there, but your friendly neighborhood automotive repair shop wants to chime in as well … it’s scorching!

We truly value your time, and we wanted to remind you that our technicians and mechanics are working hard in extreme heat. They’re dealing with vehicles and engines that are over a couple hundred degrees Fahrenheit, plus the humidity, which can slow things down a bit.

Technically the “downtown” starts at Giles so we’re refreshing the gateway to downtown! Small steps to making downtown Windsor the place to be again

As bad as these spark plugs look, they were not causing a misfire to be detected by the vehicles computer . So, no check engine light to tell the customer anything was amiss.

Exhibit A as to why preventative maintenance is so important. We’re keeping our vehicles longer than we have in the past , which is putting an even greater importance on preventing problems before they turn into costly repairs.

I have to know what the thought process was here … Of all the places a transmission pan drain plug could be, why here? Or maybe the question is why put the exhaust pipe here? Seems a bit unnecessary (read-annoying) to have the drain plug positioned directly above an exhaust pipe! 🧐
