Every Camaro person has a version of this story. The savings account that disappeared. The sensible car that got traded in for something that made absolutely no financial sense. The summer of overtime shifts that led to one very specific purchase.

We never regret it. But we all have a story.

What did you give up to own your first one?

A 1968 Camaro owner who keeps coming back. A Trans Am builder who found exactly what they needed. And a customer who dealt with Metz and is already planning their next call to her directly.

This is what we work for. Knowledgeable staff, the right parts, and an experience that makes ordering feel easy regardless of what you are building.

Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to share their experience with us. It means everything. 🇨🇦

Auto Metal Direct was built by car people who understood that quality in sheet metal reproduction is not subjective. Every panel they produce starts as a prototype that is test fitted on an actual car. The marked up prototype goes back to the tooling team, adjustments are made, and a new prototype is produced. That process repeats until the part meets the standard, proper gauge steel, correct clips, tabs, flanges, bends, and seams, exactly as original.

For a Camaro restoration where the bodywork has to be right, AMD is the name that makes it possible. From door skins and quarter panels to floor pans and bumpers, every part in their catalogue was built with the same level of care that your build deserves.
