It was a wild spring at the Whitby shop, the guys have been grinding it out for months.

Great time to shut down early and go do something fun!

But I think we would all agree. Treetop trekking might have been more work and working out than actually being at work. It was intense / and hot !

What a great time, Thanks to the team for all showing up and having some laughs and going for a bite to eat after to relax.

We were fortunate to be asked by Herizon House to join them at this year's " Golf Fore HER " event in Ajax.

And what an amazing day it was, beautiful weather, wonderful people, and an even better charity event.

We like to help out at Christmas with our annual Toy Drives but that only goes so far. So to be able to sponsor a putting challenge means we can double down on support and fund raising for Herizon House and give back again.

After hearing some of the details of the amount of women and children effected annually by abuse and the amount of women and children they help and support is fantastic, but the side we don't realize is the amount of women and children they have to turn away to capacity limits is terrible and heartbreaking...
So we will continue to support Herizon House
And hope that the number they can help increases every year. What is more important than protecting these Women/ Families...

Herizon house put on such an incredible day, so many smiling faces, lots of prizes to be won and a ton of support from local businesses. ( What more can you ask Fore !! )

Thank you so much for including us this year and I look forward to the Christmas season and to see what next year has in store !

Huge Shout out to Jason Trim Tech and his team for this interior overhaul

Being a shop of Technicians, We can throw a motor in , chop some suspension , install a supercharger, brakes , lines ...The list goes on....but...

What this truck was missing was attention to detail inside.

We had a beat up 80s style bench seat with a hacked up carpet for far too long.

After talking to Jason , you could tell immediately
He had a vision , he had excitement and really made this thing come alive. The interior is incredible.

Way more detail than I ever envisioned, I keep noticing things even after having the truck back for a week.

Couldn't be happier and excited to put some miles the truck this summer

It's not everyday we get a call for an alignment on a racecar. Over at the Master Mechanic Ajax location.

But When it happens how can you say no ! This thing did not disappoint. It had some magic under the hood. 💪🏼

Happy birthday to this wonderful man Apo.

I have been fortunate enough to work with and get to know Apo quite well over the last few years.
He is a family man , a great dad, husband, and son.

He is a role model and a great teacher for the next generation of technicians. He's an incredibly hard worker, and is eager to solve any problem that's put in front of him. He always wants the best for everyone around him.

I learn from Apo constantly even outside of work. He has great insight on life and how to appreciate what's in front of you, and all the good things surrounding you. Which sometimes I overlook.
Little things he probably has no idea that I take away from his friendship.

I take pride in surrounding myself with people I can learn from and grow with. I have 2 full shops of people I admire and care for.
It keeps me motivated to do my best for them and be able to support them as they have supported me.

Happy birthday apo. You sir are one of a kind.

Here is a prime example of why you should trust your mechanic....

I will leave out the company who performed this vehicle's initial safety....cause the point of this isn't to shame someone. It also isn't made to make us look like the good guy .. it's about hardworking people and the service they should receive.......

We are seeing this on a weekly basis but this has been the worst...

Details :
2015 Honda CRV with 30,000 KM. Yes 30...

The client was quoted. $9000.00 in repairs... Some required and some recommended ..

The total of the " required for Safety" items
= $ 2936.20 plus the $315.00 inspection....

The client said they would like another opinion, luckily it came to us....and thank goodness for that intuition on her part......

We were able to inspect and complete the safety on this Honda CRV...

The result ? It needed a battery .. that's it ...

No brakes. No control arm, no calipers...
Just the battery because it won't hold a charge ..

The first thing that comes to my mind is .....

Tell me this dealership wasn't looking to scare this lady into scrapping her 10 year old vehicle.
Then Selling her a new one ..
and a technician buying this to flip it ? Or even the dealer actually flipping it....

Or better yet.. a flat rate technician making his monthly salary in a day or two's worth of work...
Because they decided humanity isn't important, being trustworthy isn't important , being honest isn't important...what's important is a pay day ..

Truly upsetting..this is what gives " Mechanics " a bad name

We will be following up with the MTO and reporting this. And hopefully they can send an agent to review this vehicle in person while in our possession.

Feel free to share and talk about it...be diligent on where you service...trust who you service with...and just because the vehicle is a certain brand doesn't mean the dealer is the only place to go ..

Another amazing year in the books !!

An incredible turnout from all of our clients, we were able to donate over 3 large moving boxes of toys and gifts. Filling our shuttle van once again.
