On January 4th 2011 at around 11am the Last Mercury Car rolled off the production line in St Thomas assembly, that car was none other than a Black 2011 Ultimate Edition Mercury Grand Marquis,

Through Mercury's last years they had very few performance vehicles compared to there Street rod days those cars included the MN12 Cougar XR7, 03,04 Marauder, and 01-06 MGM LSE, and I consider myself incredibly lucky to own all of them a 96 XR7, 03 Marauder, and 03 and 04 LSE aswell as my Sunroof equipped 05 Ultimate Edition

Its crazy to think people my age dont even know what a Merc is

September 15th is a Very Sad Day in the Panther Comunity because on September 15th at 12:20 the Very last Crown Victoria was the very last car to ever roll off the St Thomas Assembly line and last American made Body on Frame, RWD, V8 CAR!! The Last of its Kind, and Last Real Car ever made!!

Nothing will ever come close to being what a Panther is a Car thats Chassis went through 3 Minor Changes between 1978-2012 is unheard of, a Car thats built for Fleet i.e Police cars that hasn't been produced in over 12 years yet still serves as a Cop Car and outlives the new ones, A Car that everyone recognizes and is an Icon,

What comes to mind when you think of a Cop car is a Vic, a NYC Taxi a Vic, Airport Limo Town Cars, most of your Parents or Grand Parents I'm 99% sure owned a Variation of this

NOTHING LASTS FOREVER AND ALL GOOD THINGS SADLY WILL COME TO AN END!! RIP TO THE BEST CAR EVER BUILT!!
