Imagine charging your electric car while driving. No cables, no stopping, just keep going.

Honda is developing technology that could make it happen. Charging equipment built into the road would send power wirelessly to a receiver under the car.

Trials on public roads in Japan are planned from 2027. If it works, it could mean fewer charging stops, especially for delivery vehicles that spend hours on the road.

We are not quite at the stage of charging up on the school run, but it is an interesting glimpse of what motoring could look like.

Until then, we can help keep today's vehicles running smoothly with regular servicing, battery checks and repairs.

Technology has changed the automotive industry dramatically, but some things should not change.

At Fifth Avenue Auto, we combine contemporary automotive service with old-school customer service. That means taking the time to explain what we find. It means getting authorization before carrying out maintenance or repairs. It means providing an estimate and keeping you informed if circumstances change.

Most importantly, it means treating customers fairly and with respect. We have been part of the West Kelowna community since 1988, and our goal remains the same: provide skilled automotive service while making the experience as straightforward as possible.

Modern maintenance . Old-school customer service.

MINI is adding a little more adventure to its Countryman.

The 2027 MINI Countryman Untamed Edition brings a tougher look to the compact SUV, with distinctive exterior styling designed to give it more outdoor character. It builds on the Countryman's mix of everyday practicality and the playful personality MINI is known for.

The Untamed name suggests a vehicle ready for weekend escapes, whether that means exploring the Okanagan countryside or heading out for a scenic drive. Of course, distinctive styling is one thing, but a vehicle still needs to be ready for everyday driving.

If your car is due for a seasonal check or routine maintenance, our team can help keep it ready for wherever the road takes you.

From commotion to production. The new Jag has certainly garnered a lot of attention, from the stunning poor branding overhaul and reception to the initial concept vehicle, to .... this. One things for sure, it will certainly turn heads. Thoughts on this new slab of auto?

The Jaguar Type 01, which basically broke the internet, is finally here in its final production form. Oh, and it's now a sedan.
