This 1974 Cadillac Coupe Deville came in for a slight manifold tick and a new muffler. Upon disassembly, we were met with 52 years of heat cycled bolts that were less than cooperative. After drilling and tapping 11 broken bolts with minimal space, we were finally able to get a new pair of manifolds bolted back up and begin rebuilding the exhaust. Customer opted to stay single, so we bent up a new system with a Lyell’s Stainless Exhaust Inc. B52 muffler, along with their spherical joint for some vibration isolation and a v-band for serviceability. These mufflers are great for your classic muscle car tone. Happy to see this one head down the road after a struggle.
