It is with great excitement that I’m pleased to announce that AarKel Tooling Technologies has acquired the shares of Superior Tool and Mold in Oldcastle, Ontario. This acquisition represents a significant milestone in our continued growth strategy and reflects our long-term commitment to strengthening our capabilities and expanding our footprint within the tooling industry. More importantly, this opportunity brings an incredibly talented and experienced team of over 80 associates into our organization. Superior has built a strong reputation over nearly 33 years for quality, reliability, and customer commitment. I have personally known Jeff Green and Don Walker for many years, dating back to earlier in my career when I worked with them as a Program Manager, and I have always had a deep respect for the business they have built and the team they have developed. This move further strengthens our presence in the Windsor region by adding a 3rd facility and second tooling facility, allowing us to better serve our customers with increased capacity, flexibility, and responsiveness. In addition, Superior’s diverse and well-established customer base will complement our existing relationships and enhance our overall market position, helping to ensure a steady and sustainable pipeline of work across all AarKel facilities for our associates.
As we move forward, our priority will be a smooth and thoughtful integration that respects the strengths and culture of both organizations. We are committed to maintaining the high standards that both AarKel and Superior are known for, while identifying opportunities to collaborate, improve, and grow together.
