We are looking for a full time mechanic for our shop; minimum 3rd year apprentice or licensed technician. Must have a good work ethic, diagnostic ability & work well in a team environment.
Key responsibilities: perform diagnostics, repairs & maintenance on all types of vehicles. Test all systems or components to ensure they are working properly. Isolate the systems or components that might have caused the maintenance issue. Maintain efficiency & accuracy in diagnosing & repairing vehicles. Preventative maintenance as it relates to long term reliability of the customer's vehicle.
Position requirements: Red Seal Certification in automotive repair or 3-4 year Apprentice Certification. Strong diagnostic & electrical ability & understanding. Wheel alignment & air conditioning ability. Ability to use industry information programs such as Alldata. BC Government Inspector's Certification (not required but a plus). Clean drivers abstract.
