⚡🚙 HANNAH & ELLA REVIEW! 🚙⚡

This week the girls got to experience something a little different — our 2024 Cadillac LYRIQ Sport!

An all-electric Cadillac loaded with luxury, technology, and some pretty impressive performance. This one definitely got everyone's attention! 😎

❤️ Ella loved the overall look of the LYRIQ, but I think the speed and acceleration might have impressed her even more! 😂

🎵 Hannah was a big fan of the entertainment controls and all the cool technology inside. There's definitely no shortage of features to play around with!

⚡ For me, I absolutely loved how smooth and quiet this Cadillac was to drive. The all-electric experience is pretty impressive, but the Super Cruise hands-free driving feature really stood out! Being able to experience hands-free driving on compatible highways is something else!

And with gas prices back around $1.99/L in Vernon, going electric is looking more appealing than ever! 😂

🚐 HANNAH & ELLA REVIEW! 🚐

This week the girls took out something with a little more room — our 2024 Chrysler Grand Caravan SXT! 😎

And with a family of four, there's definitely something to be said about having all that extra space!

❤️ Ella loved just how roomy the Grand Caravan was! Plenty of space to stretch out and get comfortable.

❄️ Hannah was a big fan of the comfortable seats and having rear climate controls. Apparently being able to control the air in the back is a pretty big deal! 😂

🚐 For me, I really liked the visibility, the power sliding doors, and just how easy and comfortable it was to drive. It's honestly just a really cool unit with so many practical features!

Whether it's getting the kids to school, hauling around sports equipment, or heading out on a family road trip, this Grand Caravan has you covered!

October is always a special month for us—it marks the moment it all began back in 2008. This month, we are celebrating 18 years in business, and reaching this milestone has us reflecting on the incredible journey that brought us here.

First and foremost, thank you to the community of Vernon. Without your continued trust, loyalty, and support over the past 18 years, none of this would have been possible. You’ve welcomed us, backed us, and made doing business here an absolute privilege.

A business is only as strong as the people behind it, and we are beyond fortunate with our team. Fun fact: nearly 75% of our crew over the years is still connected to us—which might sound crazy until you realize almost everyone is family!

We want to give some very special shoutouts to the people who helped build this foundation:

Bobbi & Shawn: Bobbi has been with our family for over 20 years—long before Swan Lake was even a thought in our minds. She started out as my parents' bookkeeper and has now stepped into the role of our new business manager following Mom’s retirement. Meanwhile, her husband Shawn has been keeping our showroom in top shape right from the very beginning. We truly couldn't do it without either of you!

Robin & Karen Williams: When we first opened our doors, we needed a business manager, so we convinced Robin—a longtime family friend—to come out of retirement. Karen joined shortly after to keep our day-to-day running smoothly. They gave us over 14 incredible years before heading into a well-deserved retirement in Mexico. We know you two are soaking up every minute down south, but we definitely miss Robin’s classic stock tips and "back in my day" stories around the office!

Joe Anderson: Joe gave us 10 wonderful years before his retirement. Rest in peace, Joe—thank you for everything you brought to our team.

Josh: An absolute rock who has been with us for just over 13 years and counting.

Mike: My brother-in-law, who has been in the trenches with us for over 6 years now.

At the end of the day, family is the beating heart of what we do. That brings it to the four of us: Mom, Dad, Heather, and me.

Heather and I are endlessly grateful for the opportunities, wisdom, and unconditional love Mom and Dad have poured into this business and into us. As this year winds down and our parents officially step back to let Heather and I take the reins, our biggest wish is that Mom and Dad can finally kick their feet up, relax, and let the "kids" handle things from here... (though Dad shouldn't get too comfortable—I'm definitely still stealing him one day a week so I can get a break!).

We love this business, we love this city, and we love this community. Thank you, Vernon, for 18 unforgettable years. We can't wait to see what the next 18 bring!

This week the girls took out something a little different — our 2013 Volkswagen Beetle Convertible!

With only 83,000 km, this is a 1-owner, locally owned car, and it’s priced at $17,995++.

🚗 Ella loved the way the Beetle turned and handled — definitely a fun little car to drive!

🔥 Hannah was a fan of the heated seats and storage space, but of course her favourite part was putting the top down! 😎

For me, it’s just a fun car. There aren't too many days of top-down weather left this year, but we figured we’d better take advantage of one while we could! 😂

If you’ve been looking for a fun convertible with low kilometres and great local history, this one is definitely worth a look!
